HoneyApple Hill is a modest apiary operation located in central New York. Our hives are situated among fields of goldenrod and acres of private woodlots. Our bees take advantage of a floral landscape comprised of maple, apples, cherries, clover, blackberries, asters, goldenrod, black locust, knotweed, milkweed and more.
Shelley, our beekeeper, strives to employ science-based practices in our apiary to ensure the health and survival of our bees. She received her Master Beekeeper certificate from Cornell University in 2015, and now facilitates the Master Beekeeping program as well as the instructor-led Beekeeping Essentials course offered by eCornell.
